Police: Man in Texas A&M gear robs Kerrville IHOP

The man pulled a semi-automatic pistol on a cashier, demanded money and then fled the scene in a Toyota Prius.

A man wearing a long-sleeve Texas A&M T-shirt strolled into Kerrville's IHOP restaurant, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the cashier on Tuesday morning.

In the complete opposite of the spirit of "Gig 'em," Kerrville Police said this stick-up happened at 9:43 a.m. at the 1429 Sidney Baker Highway restaurant. The suspect fled the scene in a silver Toyota Prius.

Police said the suspect is a white male, approximately 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was wearing a grey knit cap, sunglasses, a maroon Ping brand Texas A&M quarter zip pullover, gloves, dark pants and white running shoes.

The Prius may have been missing a hub cap on the front right wheel.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery should contact the Kerrville Police Department at (830) 257-8181 or Kerr County Crime Stoppers at (830) 896-TIPS (8477).
