SU Songkeepers Coffeehouse Concerts: Michael Martin & George Batista Bob Dylan Tribute

Michael Martin performs solo acoustic shows, duo sets with George Batista, and plays guitar for San Antonio's The Infidels. Food Court: 830 Burgers. Presented by Schreiner University Songkeepers Learning Community, continuing the Coffeehouse Concerts series of live music performances began by Dr. Kathleen Hudson in 1987.

Kerrville Appleseed

Hill Country Shooting Sports

8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Learn fundamental rifle marksmanship techniques in a fun, family-friendly environment. Whether you're an experienced shooter or new to the world of shooting sports, Project Appleseed has something for everyone. In addition to marksmanship training, you'll hear amazing stories about the earliest days of the American Revolution during breaks from the range. Range fees for this event are $10 per day. Please try to arrive by 8 a.m. for check-in so that the event can begin on time. Lunch will take place on-site, so please plan on bringing lunch, water, etc.

Join us at Billy Gene's Restaurant on the first Saturday of each month for Cars and Coffee. Antiques, sports cars, lifted trucks, slammed trucks, Jeeps, and project cars. They want to see what you got.

Kerr County Market Days & Hill Country Swap Meet

Hill Country Youth Event Center

8 a.m.-3 p.m.

The big all-in-one indoor market brings together sellers from all over the Hill Country. Check out the collectibles, flea market items, household, books, tools, plus new handcrafted items including crosses, candles, seasonal items and jewelry.

Benefit for Kayla's Family

River Star Park, 4000 Riverside Dr E, Kerrville

11 a.m.- 6 p.m.

On the evening of July 24, an alleged drunk driver forever changed a family on Fredericksburg Road. Police said a suspected drunk driver hit the Maughan family head-on. Kayla Maughan, the mother of the two children in the vehicle, died at the scene. Josh Maughan, Kayla's husband and father of the two children, was the driver of their car suffered severe injuries that have required many surgeries and continued care, including physical therapy. Kaly Maughan, 3, suffered two broken legs, requiring multiple surgeries. Landon Maughan, 2, only physically suffered minor scratches. Kayla Maughan's mother, Beverly, cares for the children. The benefit offers food, auction items, raffles, a cornhole tournament, and live music, with all proceeds going to the family.

Hill Country Gala

Hill Country Youth Event Center

The nonprofit Hill Country Gala, Inc., was created to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. The organization's board voted to expand to include local veteran nonprofits, and the event will be a new and exciting format. The banquet will be a fun and entertaining event that consists of a formal dinner, program, live performance by Pat Green, dance, wine and bourbon pull. Attendance is limited to 700-900. Outdoor Car & Bike Show

River Star Arts & Event Park,4000 Riverside Dr., Kerrville

1–5 p.m.

Destination Cycle & Lost Souls have partnered to produce its first car and bike show. The event is Benefitting the Kerrville Lion's Club "Toys for Hill Country Tots"! Bike/Car Participant Fee: $25 or $20 with a new, unopened toy donation! This is a free spectator event. Awards will be given out to the top cars and bikes. Lost Souls will be putting on a 100 mile Poker Run too!!! Start location will be River Star Park. First Bike leaves at 9 a.m. $15 entry fee/$5 fee for a passenger.
