Good morning, Kerr County!
There's a chance we're talking slightly; we may see some moisture this weekend, but it's certainly not going to threaten Saturday Easter egg hunts, but it could provide for a cloudy Easter morning. Over the next few days, the weather will definitely have an air of unpredictability, with highs in the 80s today and on Saturday, a high of 95. After that, we could see thunderstorms — but just a 20% chance. The National Weather Service is still warning about severe fire danger, especially today with gusty winds expected in the afternoon.
On today's The Lead Live!
Another fun-filled show today with a wide range of guests. We'll welcome Ka Neunhoffer and Libbie Horton to discuss their new dance company. The two were behind a pair of original dance performances that Neunhoffer scored, and Horton choreographed. We'll also get a visit from Jenna Moebes of Hill Country Cravings. Moebes will most likely tempt us to break diets with her remarkable charcuterie boards. We invited Rev. Bert Baetz of St. Peter's Episcopal Church to give us a Good Friday message. Finally, the Kerrville Convention and Visitors Bureau's Julie Davis will provide us with a complete rundown of all things to do this weekend. Join us at 9 a.m.

OK, slight twist to Monday's Super Show
Sometimes, it's a good idea to run things by the owner, but it's also good to have a backup plan. That's exactly what we ran into with Monday's planned Super Show of The Lead Live, because Pint and Plow Brewing Co., where we host the show, is closed in observance of the Easter holiday — giving their employees a much-needed three-day weekend. However, Pint and Plow owner Jeremy Walther cooked up a brilliant plan to keep the show on the go. So, for those who are interested in stopping by for the Super Show, or a cup of coffee, we'll be serving drip coffee (no foo-foo for you latte lovers) and asking that you leave a small donation that we will, in turn, give to the Glory Community Garden in the Doyle neighborhood. Right now, we have about 20 guests lined up. If you're interested in being on the show, register here: https://thekerrcountyleadphotography.zenfoliosite.com/super-show-booking
Just a reminder for your planner:
The first-ever The Lead Live Super Show, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, Pint and Plow Brewing Co., we will be serving drip coffee; we ask you to help us fill the tip jar to benefit the Glory Community Garden. We don't know what to tell you if you don't like drip coffee. We're not serving food; we're not serving beer — just coffee. However, it's going to be fun.

The Easter Egg Hunts have started
On Saturday, the third-grade class from Erin Falcone's class at Starkey Elementary Street trekked across the street to the home of Sarah and Bert Baetz for a cool egg hunt, complete with deliciously gross Peeps and Cascarones (you know, the confetti-filled eggs you break over heads) and a lot of fun. The Baetz's son, Oliver, is in the class, and it was nice to see kids out enjoying each other. The best line of the day was when Peeps were offered; one of the boys in the class said: "I'm out." Schreiner University student teacher Kit Davis agreed with the student's assessment of the divisive Easter confection.
