He took pride in teaching his family all he could, and his love and support will be something his family will both cherish and miss immensely.
Curtis Wayne Sifford, 55, passed from this life on December 20, 2023, in San Antonio, TX surrounded by his family. He was born in Illinois on November 5, 1968, to Roy and Alice (Anderson) Sifford. Curtis graduated from Lexington High School.
In 2011, Curtis married the love of his life, Tina, and gained two sons, Trent and Brian, who he lovingly accepted as his own. Curtis was a loving father and husband, and the safety and well-being of his family was always his top priority. He always made it a point to show up to every football game and childhood event to show his support for his boys. He never went a day without saying “I love you” to Tina, words she will forever miss hearing.
To say Curtis was a “Jack of all trades” would be an understatement. He could fix almost anything that was brought to him broken. Curtis had a very creative side, making him a phenomenal wood and leather worker. He designed many knives, bows, and a multitude of survival equipment, which he used during his time fishing and hunting. His creativity is also shown through his many drawings and paintings that are still around to this day. He took pride in teaching his family all he could, and his love and support will be something his family will both cherish and miss immensely.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael Sifford.
Left to remember Curtis is his wife, Tina Sifford; sons, Brian McCarty and Trent McCarty; sisters, Michelle Holmes and Charlotte Ahaersteine; uncles, Russell Sifford and Larry Sifford.
