He continued to work as a landscaper in the county of Montgomery until he moved to the Hill Country to be with his son and daughter-in-law.
Kenneth H. Ruth, 89, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024. He was born in Romance, Arkansas to Lester and Ethel Hendrickson.
He served in the United States Army, moved to Texas, and worked for the City of Conroe Water Department where he retired. He worked for Montgomery County Precinct 2 and later worked for the City of Cut n Shoot where he eventually retired once again. He continued to work as a landscaper in the county of Montgomery until he moved to the Hill Country to be with his son and daughter-in-law.
Kenneth H. Ruth was preceded in death by Lester and Ethel Hendrickson, William Earnest Ruth “Paw Bill”, Max Hendrickson, Johnny Hendrickson, Audrey Ruth.
Survivors include Kenneth Ruth Jr. (Tamrah Ruth), Larry Ruth, Hilton Ruth (Wanda Ruth); 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville, Texas, with Rodney Ellis officiating.
