She will be remembered for her amazing cooking skills; picadillo and daily homemade tortillas.
Diana Ozuna, 63, was set free to dance among the angels on the afternoon of Jan. 31, 2024. She was born on May 9, 1960, in Kerrville, she was one of eleven children born to Alejandro and Elena Ozuna. Diana grew up in Kerrville but lived for a few years with her daughter in Atlanta, Georgia before moving back to Ingram in 2021. She dedicated her life to caring for her children and spending as much time with them, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Diana truly enjoyed cleaning the house, making sure things were neat and organized. She would be listening to Spanish music and dancing around as she would be cleaning. Making her family smile and dancing along too. She will be remembered for her amazing cooking skills; picadillo and daily homemade tortillas. Over the last few years, Diana looked forward to time spent outdoors enjoying the sunshine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Elizabeth Ozuna and Tony Ozuna.
Diana is survived by her children, Trisha Juarez (Mando), Jason Rojas, Cynthia Sauseda (Roy), Victoria Ozuna, Stephanie Ozuna and Alejandra Martinez (Enrique); 22 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; siblings, James, Alejandro, Ralph, Javier, Linda, Rachel, Yolanda, and Mary; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The Ozuna family would like to express heartfelt thank you to Peterson Hospice nursing and staff for the great care of their mother. A special thank you to Chaplain Jamie for the spiritual guidance during this most difficult time.
