The Jigglewatts have twice been named Best Burlesque/Cabaret Show by the Austin Chronicle readers’ poll and have performed at venues ranging from the ACL Moody Theatre and The Paramount in Austin to The Slipper Room in New York, the House of Blues in New Orleans and stages in Paris, Berlin and Perth, Australia.

The troupe describes its performances as intensely character-driven, with emphasis on custom costuming, precise choreography and what it calls “the balance of choreography to improvisation.” Its mission centers on elevating queer and femme voices through classic and neo-burlesque while preserving the art form’s history through education and mentorship.
