Bobby Waldron Martin, a devoted husband, cherished father, and beloved friend, passed away on July 4th, 2025, at the age of 46. His gentle spirit, unwavering love for his family, and passion for the great outdoors will be forever remembered by his Family and friends.

Born on March 23, 1979, in Andrews, Texas but grew up in Odessa, Texas. Bobby was a man who lived life fully and generously. He was happiest surrounded by nature – camping under the stars, hiking through the woods, or discovering new places with his loved ones. He believed the best memories were made outside, and he made sure his family and friends shared in those adventures.

A man of God and deep loyalty to his faith, Bobby adored his wife, Amanda Martin. Their love was a partnership marked by respect, laughter, and a deep, abiding bond that was inseparable. Together, they built a home full of warmth, laughter, and love.

To his children, he was a steady presence – a protector, teacher, and encourager. His wisdom, patience, and kindness will continue to guide them through life.

To his Friends, he was a loyal and reliable friend with a one-of-a-kind personality. Family and friends knew if you needed anything you could count on him day or night.

Bobbys legacy is one of love, exploration, and dedication. He leaves behind His Daughter; Addison Martin, and two Sons, Austin & Ethan Martin who adored him, countless memories made in forests and campgrounds, rivers and Lakes. A reminder that the best journeys are shared with the people we love.

He is survived by his children Addison Martin, Ethan Martin, & Austin Martin; his mother, Claudia Martin; Father, Keith Martin; his brothers, John Martin and Michael McCracken; and his niece, Annaleah McCracken.

With a host of aunts, uncles, & cousins. And Many Many Friends

Bobby was joined in Heaven with his wife Amanda Martin & son Bailey Martin.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 1st Baptist Church, Odessa, Texas.

Amestoy’s great-grandparents settled in San Antonio, Texas, drawn by the city’s connections to Mexico and the region’s German communities.
