The plan, now available for public review, incorporates feedback from a citywide survey and multiple town halls. The Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council will consider the plan for adoption June 10.

The sheriff plans to use the funds to reclassify three employees into a new administrative division, provide deputy stipends and potentially purchase in-car computers.
"Our community told us what was missing—we listened," said Russ Patterson, campaign chairman for the S.A.F.E. Campus project. "The S.A.F.E. Campus will fill a critical gap in pet care, offering hope, resources and a second chance for animals and the people who love them."
