KISD expected to name superintendent finalist today
The board of trustees meets at 5 p.m. today
The Kerrville Independent School District board of trustees holds a special meeting today to name a finalist for its superintendency. The trustees meet at 5 p.m. today at the district office.
The board spent the last two weeks interviewing candidates to replace Mark Foust as the district’s superintendent. Foust left KISD for a superintendent position near Fort Worth earlier this year.
Last week, trustees held three dinners with the final candidates at Comanche Trace Country Club, and from those meetings, the trustees have picked a lone finalist. Once selected, that candidate has to wait 21 days before starting work.
