Aaron Fugazzi of Kerrville outpaced a field of 139 participants Saturday morning to claim the top spot at the 2026 Run for Riverside 5K.
Fugazzi crossed the finish line with a time of 20 minutes, 30.64 seconds, maintaining a 6:36 per-mile pace. He led a competitive men’s field, finishing just eight seconds ahead of runner-up Rob Lohmeyer, who clocked in at 20:38.65. Ben Beadle of Center Point secured third place overall with a time of 20:50.23.
In the women’s division, Jessica Kearns took first place with a time of 26:12.88. She was followed by Mina Mokhtarian, who earned second place at 26:37.41, and Lindsey Monroe, who rounded out the top three women at 27:58.53.

The Masters division titles were claimed by Travis Linscomb (24:42.60) for the men and Lora Sutter (28:01.35) for the women.
