The Mountaineers improve to 11-11 on the season with three-set sweep.

Schreiner University’s women’s volleyball team ran its record to 11-11 with a three-set non-conference sweep of Huston-Tillotson. McKenzie Strban led the Mountaineers with eight kills and the Braxton twins added six kills each. Schreiner has won three consecutive matches and four of their last five matches.

The Mountaineers face a crucial Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup Friday at Concordia in Austin. Schreiner coach Jeremiah Tiffin said a victory helps solidify the Mountaineers’ efforts to make the SCAC tournament next month.
