Randal Gene Rosinbaum, age 70, went to be with his Lord on December 29, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas.
Randal was born on April 20, 1955, in Abilene, Texas, to Oma Loveda and Jacky Roy Rosinbaum. He was raised primarily in Clyde, Texas, where he graduated from Clyde High School. A man who found his calling early in life, Randal earned his barber license while still a junior in high school and opened his own barber shop before he even graduated. Barbering was more than a profession for him; it was a lifelong passion and a way to connect with people. Over the course of 53 years, Randal cut hair, shared stories, and built friendships that spanned generations.

Beyond the barber chair, Randal had a deep love for music, especially playing the bass guitar. He generously shared his talent by performing at numerous benefit events and playing shows with many different bands throughout the years. One of the highlights of his musical journey was having the opportunity to play with Willie Nelson, an experience his family treasured among his many accomplishments. To list every band and musician he played with would be impossible, but his impact on the local music scene was undeniable.
Randal also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, moments he cherished deeply. He was known as a lovable man who never met a stranger. His family describes him as having the biggest heart, always willing to help anyone in need and give the shirt off his back without hesitation.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lani Rosinbaum; his children, Jennifer Dickson, Laurie Edwards (Trent), and Randal Brady Rosinbaum; his siblings, Terry Rosinbaum, Dean Rosinbaum (Kim), Becky Wooten (Stacey), and Greg Rosinbaum (Bertha); 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Randal was preceded in death by his parents, Oma Loveda and Jacky Roy Rosinbaum; and his grandparents, Harley and Florence McGaugh, and Robert and Fanny Rosinbaum.
