Schreiner’s Kamden Ross headed to D3 All Star game in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Ross, a two-time Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, will compete on Team Lambert, coached by former Maryville coach Randy Lambert.

Kamden Ross, the dominant senior center from Schreiner University, has been selected to participate in the 2025 NABC Division III College All-Star Game, adding another prestigious accolade to his remarkable collegiate career.

The game will be held Saturday, March 22, at 1 p.m. ET at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind., in conjunction with the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship.

Ross, a two-time Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, will compete on Team Lambert, coached by former Maryville coach Randy Lambert.

The Cibolo, Texas, native leads the SCAC in scoring with 22.6 points per game and ranks second in rebounding with 11.8 boards per game. His impressive season includes 17 double-doubles, tying for the league lead and ranking sixth in NCAA Division III.

Ross has cemented his legacy in SCAC history by breaking the conference career rebounding record in November against the University of Texas-Dallas. He collected his 1,000th career rebound a month later against Trinity and now boasts 1,186 career boards with a conference-record 11.19 rebounds per game average.

His offensive efficiency is equally impressive, shooting 62.2% from the field this season, second-best in the conference. Ross ranks third all-time in SCAC history with 1,709 career points, averaging 16.12 points per game.

On the defensive end, Ross has recorded 40 blocks this season, second in the SCAC, and 151 for his career, placing him ninth in conference history. He has also contributed 36 steals, tied for seventh in the conference.

The All-Star Game features elite senior talent from across Division III basketball. Team Lambert and Team Fenlon, coached by former DePauw coach Bill Fenlon, will showcase 21 of the division’s top players.
