Tamra Lee Moore Guice, 76, passed away on April 3, 2026, at her home in Kerrville, Texas.
She was born on January 10, 1950, in Houston, Texas, to Charles Moore and Mary Lockhart Moore. Tammy graduated from Ross Sterling High School in Houston. Over the years, she held many jobs, from waitressing to her favorite role as a truck driver. About 14 years ago, she retired to Kerrville.
Tammy married George Guice on April 18, 1980, in Angleton, Texas, and they remained together until his passing on June 3, 2012.
Tammy loved listening to old classic rock and roll. She enjoyed spending time with friends and loved ones and especially cherished sitting on her front porch, waving to neighbors as they came and went, making special connections along the way. She was also a wonderful cook, and her family will fondly remember her homemade biscuits, tomato gravy, and famous broccoli, rice, and cheese casserole.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; and her brothers, Frank Demsey Moore, Clyde Moore, Ricky Moore, and Wayne Moore.
Tammy is survived by her only child, Frank Hardin Moore and wife, Tonia Rue Moore; her grandchildren, Sebastian, Nathaniel, and Alyssa Moore, all of Kerrville; and her furry companion, Baby Girl.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Wright’s Funeral Parlor, with Deacon Chuck Burgin officiating.
