Tasha LeAnn Ramos: Aug. 15, 1976-July 4, 2025

Tasha was always front and center at his shows, cheering him on with an enthusiasm that only she could bring. She was equally supportive of her brother-in-law, Cody Crossland, and took great pride in being part of the music community that surrounded her.

Tasha LeAnn Ramos, affectionately known as “Tashita” to her family and friends, passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 48. Born on August 15, 1976, Tasha was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her sense of humor, quick wit, and undeniable style made her a beloved figure to all who knew her.

Tasha was a cherished member of Permian Resources, where she left a lasting impact through her hard work and professionalism. However, it was her family and friends who felt the true depth of her love. She was a passionate and loyal supporter of her husband, Joel Ramos, a talented musician. Tasha was always front and center at his shows, cheering him on with an enthusiasm that only she could bring. She was equally supportive of her brother-in-law, Cody Crossland, and took great pride in being part of the music community that surrounded her.

Her love for her two daughters, Devyn Smith and Kyndall Ramos, was boundless. Tasha loved nothing more than spending time with her girls, traveling with her loved ones, and enjoying live music. Her dry wit and quick sense of humor were beloved by all who knew her, and her eye for style—whether in fashion, home décor, or life in general—left a lasting impression.

Tasha is survived by her mother, Tonya Helms; her father, Wayne Helms Jr.; her daughter, Devyn Smith; her nieces and nephews, Celeste Helms, Hailey Chavarria, Xavier Ramirez, Hayden Crossland, Jackson Cabrera, and Toni Guerra. She is now reunited in heaven with her husband, Joel Ramos; her daughter, Kyndall Ramos; her sister, Shellie Crossland; her brother-in-law, Cody Crossland; her first husband, Jeremy Smith; and her grandmothers, Belvin Redus and Shirley Byrom, as well as her grandfathers, Wayne Helms Sr. and Freddy Byrom.

In honor of Tasha’s memory, memorial contributions may be made to Ellis Resthaven Funeral Home.

Tasha’s love, laughter, and her incredible spirit will be profoundly missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
