Bank Donates $50,000 to Kerrville business recovery fund

Wendele said the partnership allows the foundation to “deliver hope, resources, and real support to those who need it most.”

The Bank & Trust donated $50,000 to the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Rebuilding & Recovery Fund, providing critical support for local businesses recovering from recent hardships.

The foundation uses the donation to fund grant applications that help affected businesses stay operational, make repairs, cover expenses and continue paying employees, according to a foundation announcement.

“We are incredibly grateful to The Bank & Trust for stepping up in such a big way,” said Mindy Wendele, president and CEO of the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce. “Their commitment to our business community is making a real difference.”

Wendele said the partnership allows the foundation to “deliver hope, resources, and real support to those who need it most.”

The foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, works to strengthen and promote the Kerrville-area business community through philanthropy and leadership initiatives.

The Bank & Trust’s contribution represents the latest corporate support for the recovery fund, which aims to help local businesses rebuild after facing economic challenges.

Business owners can apply for grants or make donations through the foundation’s website at kerrvillechamber.biz/foundation.
