“The Holiday Window Trail is about bringing people together,” Legenza said. “It’s a fun, festive way for businesses to showcase their creativity, boost foot traffic, and add to the holiday magic that makes the Hill Country so special.”

Residents and visitors can follow a trail of participating businesses, view the displays and vote for favorites using QR codes provided by Kerr Together.

To participate, businesses must donate a $25 gift card or item and complete their window displays by Nov. 21 at 5 p.m. Displays must remain up through Dec. 31 and be removed by Jan. 5, 2026.

The contest includes four categories: Most Festive Window, Best Use of Lights, Most Creative Theme and People’s Choice Award.

Judging will take place from Nov. 25 through Dec. 5, while public voting runs from Nov. 22 through Dec. 24. Winners will be announced Dec. 27.

Businesses can register by dropping off their donation at Tailchasers Patio + Pub, 516 Jefferson St., by Nov. 7.

The event will be promoted through local media and social media using the hashtags #HolidayWindowTrail and #ShopKerrville. Participating businesses will appear on an interactive map and on VisitKerrvilleTX.com.
