Carol Jean Krush, born on December 1, 1959, in Dickinson, the daughter of Paul and MaryAnn (Franchuk) Krush. Carol was a passionate and devoted Catholic, who found solace in praying the rosary often, and never left the house without one. Her faith was an essential part of her being and she spent many hours of her life in prayer.
Carol was a radiant person who had enough joy and love in heart to go around. She couldn’t stay mad at anyone very long, even if she tried. She was an innocent spirit; she always did the right thing and assumed the best from people. She protected the ones she loved-once she loved you she never stopped loving or thinking about you.
Carol was raised in Fairfield, on a farm where she learned her resolute work ethic and appreciated the spirit of hard work.
Her first marriage was to Boyd Andrews, a wild Texan whom she met and married in North Dakota at the very church he once stopped at by happenstance to pray to God to send him his wife. They were married at St. Demetrius on June 23, 1982, and raised three daughters together. They had a mutual love of horses, nature, cooking good food, and the rustic life. Boyd worked in the oil field and they moved often, finally settling in Tyler, Texas for eighteen years. Boyd passed in 2018 devastating his family.
Years after the passing of Boyd, Carol married Richard Pagard on February 14, 2023, who left this life beside her. Richard gave Carol seven very peaceful, fun, and love-filled years. Together they travelled often experiencing places like the safari in Africa, Mexican beaches, the Rockies in Colorado, Florida beaches, and the Texas Hill Country where they intended on building their forever home.
Carol and Rich left this world together as many only hope to do with their partner. Prayers for the Pagard family at this time too as they mourn the loss of Richard Pagard.
Carol leaves a legacy of love through her three children and son in law: Clarissa, Ashley, and Ciara, married to Benjamin. Grandchildren: Isaac, Aurora, Maggie, James, Luna, Marlo, Angus. Siblings: Valerie (Jerry) Aluise, Mark (Regina), Steve (Jean), Ron, Julie (Tim) Schaper, and Kristen (Tom) Conner. She was preceded in death by her parents.
