Deadline nears for float entries for the Holiday Lighted Parade
The parade is limited to 96 entries, which will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration for Kerrville’s 24th annual Holiday Lighted Parade closes Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 5 p.m., and the Parks and Recreation Department is urging participants to register soon.
The parade is limited to 96 entries, which will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must register online at www.kerrvilletx.gov/1344/Holiday-Lighted-Parade and pay a $50 entry fee plus a 3.5% card processing fee.
Late registration will be accepted until noon on Nov. 10 for $75 plus the processing fee, if space remains available. No entries will be accepted once the parade reaches capacity or after the late registration deadline.
Participants must provide several details during registration, including entry type (float, vehicle only or walking), total length in feet, whether the entry includes music or animals, entry theme and description, and a 40-word maximum comment for parade announcers.
Applicants should review all rules and regulations before submitting their entries.
