Margie Krause: Aug. 28, 1934-June 24, 2024

Margie Fay Wills Krause, aged 89, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024, in her beloved town of Kerrville, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on August 28, 1934, Margie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She lived a life full of love, compassion, and dedication to her family and community. Throughout her life, Margie was known for her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering strength. She touched the lives of everyone she met with her warm smile and generous spirit. Her family was her pride and joy, and she spent countless hours creating cherished memories with them. Margie had a deep love for playing games, especially board games and Marjan. Her competitive spirit and joyful laughter made every game night memorable. She was also an avid gardener, finding peace and happiness in nurturing her plants and flowers, and her cooking skill was legendary, with her recipes being passed down through generations. She delighted in preparing meals for family and friends’ gatherings. Additionally, Margie had a passion for quilting and sewing, creating beautiful pieces for family that will be treasured forever. She was a pillar of her community, actively involved in various organizations, along with Meals On Wheels. Her passion for everything she involved herself in was evident to all who knew her. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and loved.

She is survived by her daughters Cynthia Andrews (Kevin), Candace Clark, Penelope Molina (Ramiro), Taffany Jones, and several beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives with the values she instilled in them.

The family will have a celebration of life concert and memorial at Juniper Retirement Center in August, and extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time.

Margie will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
