With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher Gene Garza, who left this world at the age of 47. Though his time with us was far too short, he filled every year with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
Christopher embraced life wholeheartedly. He had a smile that could brighten a room, a heart that welcomed everyone, and a spirit that found joy in the little things. Whether spending time with family and sharing stories or cheering from the couch during a San Antonio Spurs game, he lived with passion and authenticity.
His children were his world and his proudest accomplishment. He loved them with all his heart. The memories they shared together will forever remain a source of comfort and strength.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious sense of humor, unwavering love for his family, and his ability to make others feel welcome. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.
He is survived by his mother, Delia Garza of Kerrville, sister, Julie Torres (Zac) of Kerrville, brother, Eugene Garza III of Kerrville, his three beloved children, Jazlynn Garza of Kerrville, Christopher Gene Garza Jr and Summer-Lynn Garza of San Antonio, grandchildren, Joziah and Jazarion of Kerrville, and his niece and nephews, along with many other family members and friends who will miss him beyond words.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that love never truly ends. Christopher’s memory will continue to inspire us to laugh often, love deeply, and cherish every moment, just as he did.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever a Spur at heart.
