Breaking News: KPD investigating fatal crash, details limited

There are few details on the Saturday night crash. This is a developing story.

Multiple sources are confirming to The Lead that a Saturday night vehicle collision has left one Tivy High School student dead, but an ongoing investigation is making details limited.

The Kerrville Police Department acknowledged that Saturday night’s crash involved a fatality, but that the department wouldn’t make a statement until Monday. The Kerrville Independent School District also acknowledged the crash but said it was waiting for the police to finish its investigation before making a statement.

At least two sources, who weren’t authorized to speak for KISD, said at least one student was involved in the crash and that more were likely injured.
