She spent most of her life caring for and providing a loving home for her spouse and children and serving as needed in the congregations her husband served.
Dawn is survived by her daughter, Courtney Leonard; son Chad Leonard and wife Alice; son Blaine Leonard and wife Kendra, brothers Ron and Michael Scharck, and 7 grandchildren.
He married Sharan Oliver on June 6, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas.
He retired early at age 62 from Texaco where he worked as a plant manager in Eunice, NM. He was a veteran of the armed forces and served in the Marines. He was a member of Riverside Church of Christ in Kerrville.
He married Betty Jean Calcote on October 5, 1968, after meeting at the YO Ranch.
She worked as a waitress most of her life before retiring in 1989 and then moved on to caring for families with elderly parents up until 2008.
Carol went to school at Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio and graduated from Texas Woman's University with a Bachelor's degree in nursing. She worked as a registered nurse in several locations, including The Kerrville State Hospital.
Kerrville's Allen Ross Stern connected with people wherever he was. He served his community in every role possible, including at church, coaching youth sports, and scouting.
Gloria Ellen Rose wanted to travel the world with the love of her life and to cherish her family — she did both.
