Catherine Ritter: Nov. 1, 1952-July 20, 2026

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Lillian; and her beloved daughter, Charlotte Nicole Ritter.

Catherine (Cathy) Lucy Ritter, of Kerrville TX, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 20, 2026, in Lafayette, LA, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Cathy was born in Phoenix, AZ on November 1, 1952, to Glen and Lillian Ritter.

Cathy graduated from Richard King H.S, Corpus Christi, TX in 1970, and Texas A&M University, in 1980. Cathy worked for the Kerr County Road and Bridge Dept., Hill Country Youth Ranch and Best Western Hotel in Kerrville.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Lillian; and her beloved daughter, Charlotte Nicole Ritter.

Cathy’s survivors include her brothers, David Ritter wife Sally and Jerry Ritter and wife Boni; her grandchildren, Glen David Ritter, Joseph DeLaCruz, Ashlynn DeLaCruz, Noah Benson, and Nolan Benson; her nephew, Lucas Ritter; nieces, Erin Dore and Lauren Tucker.

Visitation will be Friday, July 24, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Kerrville, TX, with graveside services to follow at 3:30 PM at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to Hill Country Youth Ranch.

The family extends a special thanks to her dear friends, Tammy, Charlie, and her caretaker in Lafayette, Judy.
