Dorian Lebris Ball: April 2, 1965-June 25, 2026

Dorian was described as a jack of all trades and master of none, often reciting quirky fun facts and sharing his vast knowledge of car mechanics.

Dorian Lebris Ball, 61, passed from this life on June 25, 2026 in Mountain Home, TX surrounded by loved ones. Dorian was born in Battlecreek, Michigan on April 2, 1965, to David and Linda (Beckwith) Ball. Growing up in Ypsilanti, MI, he later settled down in the beautiful hill country with his partner in life and love, Nancy Jenkins.

Dorian was described as a jack of all trades and master of none, often reciting quirky fun facts and sharing his vast knowledge of car mechanics. He especially loved his grandchildren, whose presence brought him immense joy; they remember him as funny, silly, and always with a smile on his face. Dorian’s friendliness extended to others as well – he never met a stranger, making friends wherever he went.

After 30 years of working for corporate media chains, Louis Amestoy saw a chance to establish an independent voice in the Texas Hill Country. He launched The Lead to be that vehicle.
