Floyd “Bo” Gold: Dec. 5, 1960-Jan. 22, 2026

Floyd Wayne “Bo” Gold, 65, passed away on January 22, 2026, at his home in Kerrville, Texas.

Born December 5, 1960, in Weimar, Texas, Floyd was the eighth of nine children born to August John Gold and Evelyn Zapalac Gold. He was known to family and friends as Bo.

Bo worked for Macdonald Property Management in Kerrville for the past four years. Prior to moving to Kerrville, he was employed at the Munday Plant in Bay City, Texas. A simple man and a hard worker, Bo was not much of a talker but was a good listener and always thoughtful toward his sisters.

He enjoyed reading and would pick up just about anything to read. Bo also loved spending time with his nephews, whether playing pool or going hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Joyce Hebbe, Lonis Karm, Carol Schmidt, Roger Karm, Carl Gold, and August Frankie Gold.

Bo is survived by his sisters, Sharon Karm of Pearsall, Texas, and Janet Hahn and her husband Paul of Kerrville, Texas; as well as several nieces and nephews.
