Driving while intoxicated charges dominated the week’s arrests, accounting for eight bookings. Of those, two involved blood alcohol content readings of 0.15 or higher — nearly twice the legal limit — and one was a second DWI offense. One DWI arrest also included charges for driving with an invalid license and having an open alcohol container.
Drug-related offenses resulted in eight bookings during the period. Charges ranged from possession to manufacture and delivery of controlled substances, including methamphetamine. The most serious drug charges involved manufacture or delivery of at least four grams but less than 200 grams of controlled substances.
Five assault-related arrests were made, including three domestic violence cases. One booking involved aggravated assault with a deadly weapon coupled with unlawful restraint charges.
Other arrests included two public intoxication charges, criminal mischief cases — including one involving damage to a worship facility or school — identity theft, bail jumping and violations of probation.
Bond amounts ranged from $500 personal recognizance bonds to $25,000 cash or surety. Three individuals were held without bond for probation violations or capias pro fine warrants.
