Tom's family and friends would describe him as a loving and caring man. He was a friend to everyone and an avid storyteller.
She met the love of her life, Wayne Campbell, on a blind date in 1955, and they were married on March 22, 1957. They were blessed with three sons.
George met his beloved wife Virginia in 1967 while visiting Kerrville with his Air Force buddy and they were married on September 16, 1967.
He volunteered for service in the United States Air Force from 1965-1969 earning the rank of Staff Sergeant and serving in Turkey during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge, he worked at the Kerrville Telephone Company until his retirement in 2002.
After his stint in the military Stephen got a job at the Geneva Rubber Company in 1971. Stephen, being a man with a strong work ethic and a loyal employee; remained with the rubber company for 25 years; until they closed their doors in 1995.
Until the age of 90, Leona enjoyed working and serving the city of Kerrville.
Sandy loved being in the mountains of Montana and Colorado - hiking, birdwatching, and photographing wildlife. She was an accomplished quilter, as well.
She escaped to Germany with help from the Americans, just days before the Russian occupation, by hiding in the trunk of an Army chaplain’s car. She continued to work as a translator for the US Army after reaching Germany.
She was a gifted crafter and cook and created trees and decorations for every season and holiday of the year to display in her home.
