He loved being with his family and making everyone laugh. He was a loving and caring son, brother, father, uncle, nephew and cousin.

Some of his greatest loves were hunting, bow hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He was also an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan and played baseball and softball in several leagues over the years.
In 1990, she retired from the Veteran's Administration in Kerrville after working as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 21 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Carol; his son, Eric and wife Alexis; his daughter, Tara and husband Pat; and his five grandchildren, Brady, Kate, Peyton, Jack and Abby, all of Kerrville.
Florence loved to travel with her husband, visiting all 50 states in her lifetime plus made trips to Canada, England, Wales, Scotland, Germany, France, Italy and Ecuador.
She welcomed all with open arms and heart. She loved learning and had many talents. We have beautiful artwork that she painted, blankets and sweaters she knitted, pottery she made and antiques she refinished.
Hoot will be affectionately remembered by many young men whom he mentored and coached. His sage advice to them was to find enjoyment, laughter and friendship throughout life. Hoot's famous line whenever someone had visited and was heading out the door was, ''Have fun!''
He worked hard his whole life while actually just playing in the dirt. John's happy place was always on a bulldozer or in a deer stand! He was a champion bar-b-quer!
Dobbie and Jeannette retired to Kerrville in 1982 where they continued to enjoy church and traveling in their motorhome to all 50 states. Jeannette loved her Lord, her family and her friends.
Lampman moved to Comfort in 2003 so he and his wife could be closer to their granddaughter.
