Penny Schomber-Ferguson: Oct. 27, 1948-July 4, 2025

Penny worked as a computer data entry for various companies over the years as an independent contractor. She knew how to enjoy the little moments and was very social – she enjoyed morning coffee and evening wine by the fire pit. She had lots of friends and was always gathering everyone together. She truly enjoyed fishing and boating.

Services for Penny Schomber-Ferguson will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Hilliard Funeral Home with Shelby Davidson officiating. She will be laid to rest at Garden Valley Cemetery, along with her husband of 34 years, Bruce.

Penny Lee Martin Schomber-Ferguson was born October 27, 1948, in Beloit, Wisconsin. She passed away at the age of 76, after living a full and adventurous life. She and her husband were full-time RVer’s; they died together in the Kerr County flood on July 4, 2025, while doing what they loved.
