Johnna Dee Butler of Kerrville, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Johnna was the daughter of John Gordon Butler, Jr. and Carlene King Butler, of Rio Medina, Texas.
Johnna Dee was born on August 21, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from John Jay High School. She worked for and retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. She enjoyed collecting antiques and creating seasonal displays at her home.
Johnna Dee is proceeded in death by her parents, John Gordon Butler, Jr. and Carlene King Butler; brother, Clifton Edward Butler; and nephews, Moses Butler and Jack Butler.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Stacy Skow of Kerrville, Texas and their two children, Chase Skow and Haylee Skow; daughter, Kelsey Lyons of Florida and her children, Quentin Rodriguez, his wife Alexa and their son, Kairos; Madison Rodriguez, her Fiancé TJ; and Jesse Rodriguez.
She is also survived by her uncles, Carl King and wife Paula of Monroe, Michigan and their son Grant King, his wife Carrie and their children, Levi, Kevin and Rose; Victor Clark of Kileen, Texas; brother, Richard Butler of Mico, Texas and his children and grandchildren, Nathanial Butler and wife LeAnn and their children, Nattie, Noah, Raylee and Ezra; Rikki Zinsmeyer and husband Michael and their children, Mikayla, John, Mikki and Mika; Zachariah Butler and wife Marina; Izekial Butler and wife Magda and their children, Mozes and Mathiaz; Elijahwan Butler; and Finian Butler. As well as nephews, Aaron Butler and Jeremiah Butler; Aaron’s daughter and son, Mackenzie Butler and John Earl Butler; and Jeremiah’s daughter, Miah Butler.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Finian Butler, Izekial Butler, John Zinsmeyer, Michael Zinsmeyer, Nathanial Butler, and Quentin Rodriguez.
