She loved bowling, liked dancing and enjoyed cooking. She also loved to laugh.

Janet Masters, 82, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Tahoka, TX in 1943 to parents, Joe and Winnie Jackson. She married Walter Masters in Hunt, TX in 1959.

She is survived by daughter, Natalie Masters; sister, Lida Locke; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Janet’s hobbies included puzzling, needle work, embroidering and cross stitching. She loved bowling, liked dancing and enjoyed cooking. She also loved to laugh.

Memorial services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

With investment from Meta, Amestoy began independently publishing on Aug. 9, 2021. The Amestoys have called Kerrville home since 2019.
