Nonprofit Week 2025: Prodigal Road Ministries
Prodigal Road is the only accredited recovery home in the community that combines the social model of recovery with Christian discipleship. They offer a non-residential program where men can participate in a one-year, four-phase discipleship program.
Executive Director Anthoney Teague and Assistant Manager Baylor Rayne discussed their ministry’s mission to help men recover from trauma and addiction through a unique Christian discipleship model in a sober living environment.
The organization was “absolutely 100 percent blessed” as their house sustained no damage from the flood, allowing them to provide a “second wind” of support to the community. Their residents immediately plugged into flood relief efforts with organizations like Cross Kingdom and helped with distribution.
The flood experience ironically brought their community closer and fostered resilience through worship and faith, with an upcoming “River Remains” event dedicated to non-stop worship.

The organization seeks volunteers for various roles, including mentoring, community outreach and event support as they continue serving men working toward recovery and sobriety.
