The 2024 Hill Country Charity Ball brought hundreds together to support nonprofit K-STAR.

With a Miami-themed party, there were many Sonny Crockett-wannabes, and everyone brought their own sense of South Florida fashions to the 2024 Hill Country Charity Ball at the Hill Country Youth Event Center. While everyone was there to have fun, the Charity Ball’s main focus was raising money for nonprofits in the area. The recipient on Saturday night was K-STAR, an important center for protecting the vulnerable.

Growing up in Southern California, Louis Amestoy remained connected to Texas as the birthplace of his father and grandfather. Texas was always a presence in the family’s life. Amestoy’s great-grandparents settled in San Antonio, Texas, drawn by the city’s connections to Mexico and the region’s German communities.
