Schreiner University caps a marvelous class of 2022

On Friday night, more than 150 students earned their degrees, and the caps tell the story.

If there is one thing we love about collegiate graduations — it's the decorative mortarboards. On Friday night, as more than 150 Schreiner University graduates earned their diplomas, we tried to capture the best of the decorated caps. Many describe the dreams ahead, especially the nursing students; others praise God or honor their family. Here's a look at some of the best mortarboards from Schreiner University's class of 2022.

Growing up in Southern California, Louis Amestoy remained connected to Texas as the birthplace of his father and grandfather. Texas was always a presence in the family’s life.
