City to host first-ever “Bark in the Park” event Sept. 12

The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with Kerrville Pets Alive!, will host the city’s first “Bark in the Park” event Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sample Park, 3605 Loop 534.
The free community event celebrates pets and connects residents with local resources promoting animal health, welfare and responsible ownership. Visitors can meet adoptable dogs from rescue organizations and learn about the adoption process.
