Kerrville police investigating apparent murder-suicide on Lois Street
The Kerrville Police Department is investigating an apparent murder-suicide after officers found a man and a woman dead inside a home in the 600 block of Lois Street on Wednesday morning.
The Kerrville Police Department is investigating an apparent murder-suicide after officers found a man and a woman dead inside a home in the 600 block of Lois Street on Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the home around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday for a welfare check on an adult male who had not been seen in several days. After making entry, officers found two people with gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was identified as 62-year-old Shannon Ratliff.
The man, identified as 64-year-old Wayne Ratliff, died of what police believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
