The Symphony of the Hills provided its audience with a nautical and gravity-defying performance on Jan. 4, 2025 at the Cailloux Theater. In the penultimate performance of the season, the Symphony covered a range of work from Handel to Gilbert and Sullivan. The nautical theme also included selections from the Pirates of Penzance, the movies Apollo 13, The Little Mermaid and Star Trek. The night also featured a trio, including maestro Gene Dowdy, performing a tribute to Lyle Lovett.
