The Antlers had their moments Friday night against visiting Boerne Champion in a pivotal district matchup, but not enough to stop Champion from a 51-47 victory. Champion’s Dakarai Hodge scored a game-high 29 points to lead the Chargers to the win.

That trip was initiated by Spurs ownership and management, but it was executed by head coach Mitch Johnson, who made trips to Kerr County in the days immediately after the flood.
