Dec. 7

Art Mart

Hill Country Arts Foundation, Ingram

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The annual Hill Country Arts Foundation showcases hand-made arts and crafts by area artists. Gift ideas that are perfect for holiday giving. The show runs Tuesday through Saturday.

Hill Country Youth Orchestra Tours of Schreiner Mansion

Schreiner Mansion, Earl Garrett St., Kerrville

10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Hill Country Youth Orchestra members guide you through the historic Schreiner Mansion downtown. All proceeds benefit the HCYO.

The Schreiner Mansion holiday tours benefit the Hill Country Youth Orchestras program during December. Tours include wassail, cookies, holiday sled photo opportunity and holiday carolers. This event is each Tuesday and Thursday.

Dec. 8

Winter Wonderland

Inn of the Hills, Kerrville

11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Kerr County Women's Chamber presents the Winter Wonderland Luncheon Fundraiser. Please bring toys age-appropriate 6-12 at the Kids Advocacy Place. Opportunity to donate to Giving Tree for Christian Women's Job Corps.

An Arcadia Holiday

Dec. 8, 6 p.m., An Arcadia Holiday, with performances by Big Seed artists. What Kelliher said: "It's an overall holiday event where everyone is welcome to come. After the musical performances are done, there will be an adaptive performance of The Nutcracker by the Classical Ballet School here in Kerrville."

Dec. 9

Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis Holiday Shindig

Arcadia Live, Kerrville

7 p.m.

Here's what Arcadia Live Executive Director Mike Kelliher said: "They do this performance every year. This is the first year to do this at the Arcadia. It should really be amazing. I just can't wait. We had them booked last year for this event, and, of course, things were canceled. So, we're really thrilled. Bruce is a local guy and he's spent time in Kerrville and Bandera. He's had a lot of No. 1 songs he's written for other artists."

Dec. 10

The Blue Oak Band

The Hunt Store, Hunt

6 p.m.

Enjoy live music at the historic Hunt Store with the Blue Oak Band.

Dec. 11

Santa Saturday with a showing of "Mickey's Christmas Carol."

Arcadia Live, Kerrville

9:30 a.m.

Here's what Arcadia Live Executive Director Mike Kelliher said: "It's to bring all of our kids out; they're going to get their pictures taken with Santa. They're going to get a goodie bag. They get to watch a short animated holiday film."

Gingerbread House Decorating

Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library, Kerrville

12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Enjoy an afternoon of fun and create a new holiday memory at the 8th Annual Gingerbread House Decorating event. The library will supply the gingerbread house and all the sweets to decorate it. Just bring your creativity.

Kids Holiday Craft Day

Museum of Western Art, Kerrville

3-7 p.m.

Enjoy a free afternoon at the Museum of Western Art. There will be plenty of crafting projects, snacks and singing.

Christmas at the Ridge

The Ridge Marketplace, Kerrville

3-6 p.m.

Come out to this family-friendly holiday event. Festivities include a hot chocolate bar, petting zoo and pony rides, crafts, ornament making, letters to Santa, making your own S'mores, and much more. Get your pictures with Santa and his special guests, The Grinch and Cindy Lou Who.

Christmas on the Hill

Kerrville Hills Winery, Kerrville

12-5 p.m.

Come shop for the holidays on the Hill. Multiple vendors – jewelry, health and beauty, food trucks, and wine made by our Kerrville Hills incubator clients.

John Denver Tribute Christmas Show

Buckhorn Lake RV Park

5 p.m.

Live performance by John Denver tribute band featuring Chris Collins and Boulder Canyon.

Ingram Christmas Parade

The Old Ingram Loop, Ingram

6 p.m.

Always one of the best parades in the Hill Country, the route is from The Loop to the City Event Park on Old Ingram Loop. Festivities will include Blue Santa, Santa's Elves, Christmas tree lighting, carols and hot cocoa and cookies. Come on out and celebrate the holidays with a parade and tree lighting.

Hunt Community Christmas Party

6-10 p.m.

Who's ready for a Hunt, Texas Christmas party? Grab that tacky Christmas sweater and all of your favorite friends for a Christmas party. Live music (Exit 505), a delicious Chili supper (provided for all guests), and prizes for the ugliest sweater.

In Six Days

Pint and Plow Brewing Co., Kerrville

6-8 p.m.

In Six Days is Magda Peynado — guitar, harmonica, and vocals; and Ray Peynado — guitar, mandolin, lap steel, harmonica, and vocals. The In Six Days band is a husband and wife acoustic duo that enjoys sharing their unique style and interpretations of many musical genres, from easy listening to classic rock to country to R&B.

The Nutcracker

Cailloux Theater

7:30 p.m.

The entire Hill Country family – young and young-at-heart will enjoy the memorable ballet and Christmas tradition, Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker," presented by San Antonio's Quenedit Ballet Theatre.
