Larry Allen Baldwin, born April 20, 1968, passed away on October 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of adventure, love, laughter, and memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him.
Larry was a bigger-than-life kind of man. He was fearless, unapologetically himself, and never one to turn down an adventure. He lived life with a spirit that could not be contained, always ready to explore, discover something new, or simply enjoy the freedom of being outdoors. The Guadalupe River held a special place in his heart, where he found happiness fishing, spending time in nature, and searching for arrowheads. He had a love for life’s adventures and a curiosity that kept him searching for the next great discovery.
Larry loved Jesus, music, and, above all, people. He had a way of making an impression wherever he went, and his larger-than-life personality made him unforgettable. He was a man who embraced life boldly, loved in his own way, and created stories and memories that will be shared for generations to come.
Though life took many turns, one love always held a special place in Larry’s heart. His former wife, Ronna Baker, was his one true love, a bond that remained a meaningful part of his story. Their journey together was an important chapter in his life and a reminder that some connections leave an imprint on the heart that time cannot erase.
Larry’s greatest legacy lives on through the family he leaves behind. He is survived by his children, Zane Steadman, Chase Baldwin, Cassie Baker, and Sonnie Baker, who will carry his memory forward in their own lives and in the stories they share.
He is also survived by his sisters, Donna Bogart and her husband, Doug, and Debbie Monroe and her husband, Bruce; his brother, Cecil Baldwin; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Natasha Rayburn, Nikki Monroe, Noel Monroe, Shana Baldwin, Shelby Baldwin, Shali Baldwin, Sheona York, C.J. Saner, and J.R. Saner.
Larry’s life was a reminder to live boldly, love deeply, and never be afraid to follow the road less traveled. He leaves behind family and friends who will remember his fearless spirit, his love of adventure, his passion for music, and the unmistakable presence that made him who he was.
Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, we find comfort in knowing that Larry loved Jesus and trust that he is now at peace in the presence of his Savior. As we say goodbye, we hold close the memories, the laughter, and the stories that will keep his spirit alive in the hearts of those who loved him.
Larry may have left this world, but the man he was and the memories he made will never be forgotten. His journey here may have ended, but his story will continue through the lives he touched and the family who will forever carry him in their hearts.
May he rest in eternal peace, fishing the waters of Heaven, reunited with his Creator, and finally home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the ALS foundation in Larry’s honor.
