How it went

The third set followed a similar script — Gustavus Adolphus built an early cushion, Schreiner answered with a run of its own, this one fueled by back-to-back service aces from Harlie Gallaspy that trimmed a five-point deficit to 16-20, but the Mountaineers couldn’t complete the comeback and dropped the set 25-19 to close out the sweep.
