The Kerr County Market Days & Hill Country Swap Meet will return Nov. 1 to the Hill Country Youth Event Center after a two-month delay caused by flooding.
The event, typically held in September, was postponed because the venue was needed for flood recovery efforts, according to show producer LuAnn Anderson.
The indoor marketplace features two sections. The Market Days area offers new items and handcrafted goods, including wreaths, clothing, accessories, quilts, candles, jewelry, greeting cards, wooden cars, pet toys, fishing lures and wood sculptures.
The Swap Meet section includes antiques, collectibles, vinyl records, sports cards, movie memorabilia, used clothing and household items.
Several nonprofit organizations will have booths at the event, including AWS Freeman Fritts, Kerrville Pets Alive, a cancer support group and Gift of Life.
Food vendors will offer barbecue sandwiches, kettle corn and baked goods.
The event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hill Country Youth Event Center, 3785 Highway 27. Admission and parking are free. Leashed dogs are welcome.
