Luis Alonso Cordona: June 19, 1992-Sept. 10, 2026

Luis Alonso Cordona, 34, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away on September 10, 2026.

Luis was born on June 19, 1992, in Kerrville, Texas, to Miguel and Dolores Cordova. Born and raised in Kerrville, Luis grew up as the youngest of his siblings and spent his life surrounded by the family and community he loved.

Luis graduated from Tivy High School and went on to attend Blinn College for two years. He later worked alongside his father as a mason, sharing not only the trade but also the opportunity to spend his days working with his dad.

Luis had a love for life and could find enjoyment in just about anything. He loved being outdoors fishing, playing the guitar, and spending time with family and friends. Naturally athletic, Luis enjoyed playing baseball and had a lifelong love for soccer. He began playing soccer as a young boy and continued playing well into his 30s.

Those who knew Luis will remember his kind heart and joking spirit. He loved to laugh, but even more than that, he loved making the people around him laugh. His sense of humor, easygoing nature, and ability to bring a smile to others are among the many things his family and friends will miss most.

Of all the people Luis loved, he shared an especially close bond with his grandmother and treasured the time they spent together. Her passing just one month before Luis was a tremendous loss to the family. As they now grieve Luis, his family finds comfort in knowing that he and his beloved grandmother are reunited once again.

Luis is survived by his loving parents, Dolores and Miguel Cordova; his siblings, Jessica Medina and husband Luis, and Jose Albert Cordova; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.

Luis’s life was far too short, but the laughter, memories, and love he shared during his 34 years will remain with those who knew him. He will be remembered as a loving son and brother, a devoted family member, a loyal friend, and someone who could always bring a little more laughter into the lives of those around him.

His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the many lives he touched.
