Chamber seeks nominations for annual awards; deadline Oct. 12
“The Annual Awards Banquet is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the people and businesses who help make Kerrville a special place to live, work and do business,” said Mindy Wendele, the chamber’s CEO.
The Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce is taking nominations for its annual community and business awards through Monday, Oct. 12.
Winners will be honored at the chamber’s Awards Banquet, presented by Happy State Bank. The banquet begins at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at Schreiner University, and this year’s theme is “Casablanca.”
The six awards are:
- Ambassador of the Year
- Mary C. Williams Volunteer of the Year
- Nonprofit Business of the Year
- Business of the Year, fewer than 20 employees
- Business of the Year, more than 20 employees
- Business Person of the Year
